Welcome to the Interactive Kid Zone!
Discover a world of educational games, exciting adventures, and beginner-friendly coding activities designed to build confidence in computer science and computational thinking while inspiring young learners to become responsible digital citizens!

Vision
Our vision is to provide engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that develop the four foundations of computational thinking:
-
Decomposition: Break a big problem into smaller parts.
-
Pattern Recognition: Notice what repeats or is alike.
-
Abstraction: Focus on the most important information.
-
Algorithms: Create step-by-step directions.
These skills help students organize ideas, solve problems, explain their thinking, and create solutions in every content area.

Tennessee Standards Connection
The Interactive Kid supports Tennessee’s K–12 Computer Science Standards by making computer science foundational, accessible to all students, and meaningfully integrated across grade levels and academic subjects. The experiences promote computational thinking, digital literacy, collaboration, logical problem-solving, and foundational programming concepts. July 2025

Mission
Every child will see themselves as a capable computational thinker who can use creativity, technology, and problem-solving to understand the world and design a better future.
