In the Books Without Borders STEM Challenge, students explore creative and innovative ways children around the world gain access to books. Inspired by these real-world examples, students use the engineering design process to create their own solution for delivering books to communities in need.

Willow Brook and Linden students will explore our school wetlands using trail cameras to observe wildlife and collect evidence over time. Our young explorers will organize their findings using pictographs and bar graphs to identify patterns, compare observations, and tell the story of our wetland ecosystems.

Powering up curiosity at Willow Brook and Linden Elementary! During Nuclear Science Week 2026, young engineers brought energy concepts to life through our Power Plant Play Challenge, using teamwork, movement, and creativity to explore how power plants generate electricity for Oak Ridge. ⚛️💡
